One of Japan’s big boys is the Nissan Titan, a full-size pickup truck that first made its way onto the street in 2004. Powered by a V8 engine and available in both rear- and four-wheel drive like its platform mate, the Armada, the Nissan Titan is a hulking yet versatile machine. The goal of the Nissan Titan was to provide North American truckers with another option outside of the main participants in this segment, namely Ford, Chevy, and GMC. And since its inception, Nissan has been impressed with the early run of success the Titan has been responsible for, which is holding down a part of a segment that until now had eluded the Japanese automaker.

The first generation Nissan Titan is equipped with a husky 32-valve 5.6 L VK56DE V8 engine capable of delivering up to 305 horsepower but has since been increased to 317. Its 5-speed automatic transmission features a tow/haul mode for hauling heavy cargo. There are two main cab options for the Titan: King and Crew. The first generation Titan saw the King Cab’s bed lengths be offered in either 6’7” or 8’, but the current series of the truck begins at 7’ and goes as high as 8’. The King Cab also features Nissan Titan parts such as rear-hinged doors that extend out wide to make loading in cargo or passengers easier. The Crew Cab bed length choices are both shorter by a foot in comparison to the King Cab but have four doors and display more room inside than the extended cab version.

There are four separate trim levels for the Nissan Titan. The XE is the base model, the SE is the mid-level option, the PRO-4X is designed to present an “off-road” package, and the LE is the luxury oriented Titan. The Nissan Titan PRO-4X is an aggressive design by the brand. Featuring Nissan Titan upgrades like 18” wheels, off-road tires, Rancho shocks, and skid plates, the PRO-4X is an ambitious alternative to the base XE. Nissan has marketed the Titan towards a wide demographic of drivers because of the trim levels offered. It has also received numerous awards, including being named Best Full-Size Truck by and the Titan was also nominated as the North American Truck of the Year for 2004, its first full model year.

It's named the Titan for a reason. Big, burly, and stylish, the Nissan Titan is that power running back that can juke a defender as easily as it can punch through the line of scrimmage. The Titan can tow a heavy load or simply just zoom past the competition – something not lost on the driving public as this machine has become a highly-respected name. There is enough cargo space to pack it with all the required lumber, luggage, or tools to get the job done, but its rounded, stylish exterior parts don't hurt either. Since it first rolled off the line, the Nissan Titan has found a way to conquer on numerous fronts. It amazes even more if fitted with the right Nissan truck accessories and parts.

These headlights are not the best, i asked them before i bought them to make sure that they would improve visibility, but they do not, if anything they make it a little harder to see. The headlights are not in a flat beam, they are flat starting at the left but going to the right they start go up into a slope and this makes it difficult to see. They also started to fade on the plastic, I dont know if it is because they are cheap made or if they are just messed up, but there is almost a film that will just rip off on them. In only a month they started to fade.
